Nice adaptation of the board game. The asynchronous multiplayer league is a great idea and I enjoy the challenge it brings to the game. However, as others have noticed, there are issues. I cant drop out of/clear matches where someone has stopped playing. There is no "time out" for matches (other than the timer disappearing after 14 days) so you can put a lot of time into a 4-player game and then it is all for naught if someone disappears. Theres no way to communicate with other players, either in-game or through the leaderboard. Theres not even a forum. This review is the only way I could think of to share my frustrations with other players :( Moreover, there doesnt seem to be any support for the game. Campfire Creations doesnt really post/update social media and they dont respond to emails. Does the company still exist? Have they given up on the game? Do they care about the game anymore? Such a shame, because there still is a player base for Stone Age and it seems like the game has strong potential. Campfire? Can you update us? We are here! Come back!

Its quite a lot fun single player. Ive never played the board game but this works very well. Never had a bug. Music is cool and it is challenging despite being relatively simple. Nice way to kill a bit of time without being too deeply engrossed and better than the 300th version of solitaire for that purpose.

This game is great in solo mode, but can be buggy in multiplayer mode and support is nonexistent. Multiplayer games in League play occasionally lock you out on your turn and you will eventually be penalized for forfeiting the game. Ive tried several times to contact support and have never received a reply. I am guessing other players have the same issue as Ive got several games that havent progressed in months.

If you want to play this game solo against AI players, its great. However, the multiplayer online (or even WiFi) doesnt even work. You can play pass and play, but what fun is that? I have no interest in passing my iPad every time a meeple is placed. Fix multiplayer, or at least make it available over WiFi!

Multiplayer is terrible, always crashing, slow updates.

I was in a game of Stone Age that had been going on for a week. I aw last take my turn instantly and I was waiting for the dude to take his turn. We were like half way through and it just gave him the win for no reason ?

We have enjoyed playing Stone Age for a couple of years, but lately, there has been glitches in playing together (it happened after iPad updated). Please fix this!

The gameplay is great, the animations luminous and with a great sense of humor, and the interface is clean and effortless. Two improvements Id invite are a way to speed through the between-round animations -- it can drag when playing a four-person game -- and to allow the resource count panel (showing what resources each player has accumulated) during the reconcile step

Love this game and the app looks great. Its a really good implementation of the board game. Only complaint is the ai which needs to be stronger and its what keeps me from giving Stone Age 5 stars

This game is terrific solo. The animaion is top quality. Id give it a 5 star if the multi-player worked smoothly like Ticket to Ride. I also have a suggestion. Develope and an in-app purchase of the expansion "Style is the Goal". Thank you for an entertaining game.

I actually love this game and app but recently the Game Center multiplayer stopped working. Every time I go to start a game with a selected friend it gives me a random opponent instead. Cant play with my friends! So 1 star until that gets fixed.

We just love it. Very well designed. Everything in one screen, easy to understand and play. One suggestion tough: it would have been nice if you could add an AI player to 2-3 player pass-n-play games, just to challenge players more.

Great app and game!!!

I love the strategy, BUT, I wish you could delete the games that other players have abandoned because they dont go back into the game when its their turn to resign! So I have a lot of games just taking up space And now on 12/24/15, cant connect to server message and cant play!!!!! Are there any tech support people that will ever fix this? Or is it abandoned?

The game itself? Awesome. Love it. Five stars. The multiplayer is abysmal. I joined a game, got to play exactly two moves, and it hasnt worked since. I spent a week not being able to sign in, so by now Ive been forced to forfeit.

I was enjoying this app very much, but as of a few days ago cant sign in and get an error message telling me to check my connection. Happens on multiple devices in multiple places. Not sure how to contact the developers about this.

What makes this game better than an actual board game is that you dont have to wait minutes for other players to make a placement, and tracking resources and specialties is a snap! You can try out different strategies. My only suggestion is to improve the multiplayer option so that it actually works.

Dont bother unless theres a good 2016 update. I loved this game. The board game is awesome and the App an excellent adaptation. But then the developers disappeared. Now it hardly even works anymore. Multiplayer is completely broken. 5 stars down to 1. Warning to you, dont get it unless fixed.
